RockKids TV – NEW Broadcast Series is ON THE AIR!

God Rocks!® is pleased to announce that RocKids TV is on the air! The new series features all new God Rocks! animation and live-action segments as well as exciting new content from Phil Vischer’s “What’s In the Bible” series. Exciting new God Rocks! segments will include Parable Playhouse (God Rocks cartoons (inspired by the parables that Jesus taught), as well as Rocky Ridge Bandstand featuring performances by the Soul Stones, Flint Rockly, The Beat Rocks and other popular God Rocks! characters. The series also introduces a new, character/host, Jasper J-Rock.RocKids TV is a production of Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. and will be distributed world-wide by Tricord Media Inc. The series currently airs 8:AM Saturday mornings on CTS television in Canada, with plans to release on USA broadcast stations in 2013. Stay tuned for updates on a streaming version of the program soon to be available on-line and where you can view RocKids TV in your area!

MISSION UPDATE: The God Rocks! African School Project

For the past three years, God Rocks! has been working in partnership with the ministry Visionledd, and have built a school for at-risk children in Shamabanse, an outskirt of Kabwe Zambia. 300 children now attend the school in 2 classrooms. We also have provided new school uniforms and school supplies, and built a fresh water well for the community.

Progress Report

Construction by local workers completed an office and two classrooms so that more than 250 children could begin school in mid-September 2008. Ranging in age from five to fourteen years, these vulnerable kids are unable to attend government schools because of poverty and other circumstances. The fresh water well was also installed at this time. Then in January 2009, the second classroom was finished, and the school uniforms were delivered.

Children are not the only ones using the school; widowed mothers are using the building after hours. Visionledd has provided thirteen sewing machines for these brave women who have also planted a garden on the school property to grow vegetables.

As of March 2010, over 100 additional children were waiting for an opportunity to attend the school. Thanks to generous support from our friends and fans, Visionledd has completed a third classroom for the God Rocks! African School Project which now accomodates more then 500 children!

God bless all supporters of this project …your generosity has made it possible for 500 at-risk children to continue to attend school in Kabwe Zambia; many for the very first time!
